The Eaton Cutler-Hammer BRN115AFC is a 15 A, 1-pole combination Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) breaker engineered to reduce the risk of electrical fires caused by arcing faults in branch circuit wiring. Combination AFCI protection is required by the 2015 Canadian Electrical Code (CE Code) for bedrooms, living areas, and other specified locations in residential construction — making this breaker a code-compliance essential for new builds and renovations. It installs as a direct plug-in replacement in Cutler-Hammer, Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger loadcentres, simplifying upgrades without panel modifications.
