This Greenlee 8-32 NC drill and tap bit completes hole drilling, tapping, and deburring/countersinking in a single power drill operation — eliminating multiple tool changes on panel enclosure work, equipment mounting, and steel strapping where the 8-32 thread is the standard fastener size. Hardened high-speed steel construction provides significantly longer service life than carbon-steel alternatives, while the back-tapered design beyond the tap prevents thread damage from over-drilling, and a secondary deburr/countersink zone beyond the back taper delivers a clean, finished hole in one pass. Rated for up to 10 gauge metal, this bit is a reliable single-size replacement or addition for crews already running Greenlee’s drill/tap system.
