This bi-metal hole saw features an extra-tough high-grade tool steel blade with a steam oxide finish that reduces heat build-up during cutting, making it reliable for extended use on steel, aluminium, fiberglass, wood, and plastic. The deep 1‑5/8" cut depth allows it to pass cleanly through 2x4 studs, saving time on rough-in electrical and framing work. An extra-thick backplate minimises vibration for smoother, more controlled cuts in demanding job site conditions.
