The Lutron Caséta Smart Switch Starter Kit (P-BDG-PKG1WS-C) is a complete, ready-to-install package that brings smart on/off control and full Caséta ecosystem integration to any standard wallbox. The kit pairs the original Caséta in-wall smart switch (PD-5ANS-WH) with the Lutron Smart Hub (L-BDG2-WH) and a coordinating white Claro wall plate — everything needed to get started in one box. Ideal for outdoor porch lights, garage circuits, hallways, and multi-bulb deck or patio loads, the switch handles up to 600 W incandescent/halogen, 5 A LED/CFL, or 3 A fan loads with a neutral wire. Once the hub is connected, the free Lutron app enables scheduling, scenes, sunset tracking, geo-fencing, and remote access from anywhere — so lights turn on at dusk automatically and turn off the moment you leave home. Caséta connects with more leading smart home platforms than any other smart lighting control brand, including Alexa, Apple HomeKit, the Google Assistant, Ring, Serena Shades, and SONOS. For additional control points, pair a Pico wireless remote (sold separately) and mount it on virtually any surface with a Pico wall mount bracket (sold separately) — no cutting holes or pulling wire required.
