The Lutron Caseta In-Wall Smart Switch PRO (PD-5WS-WH) is the professional's choice for reliable wireless lighting control in both new construction and retrofit applications. Rated for 5 A of LED, CFL, incandescent, halogen, magnetic low-voltage, and electronic low-voltage lighting loads — or 3 A for general purpose fans — it handles the full range of loads encountered on residential and light commercial job sites. No neutral wire is required, and the included Lutron Minimum Load Capacitor (LUT-MLC) ensures compatibility with non-neutral installations, eliminating the need for rewiring and reducing installation time. Compatible with single-pole and 3-way applications using an existing mechanical switch, and expandable to multi-location control by pairing with Lutron Pico Remotes (sold separately). Lutron's Clear Connect RF technology operates independently of Wi-Fi, delivering ultra-fast, ultra-reliable switching up to 60 ft line-of-sight or 30 ft through walls — fewer callbacks, more confident installs. Add a Lutron Smart Hub (L-BDG2-WH, sold separately) to unlock voice control via Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home, plus advanced features like Smart Away mode. Pairs perfectly with Lutron Claro wall plates for a clean, consistent finish (sold separately).
