The Klein Tools Wire Stripper and Cutter is a dedicated solid-wire tool built for residential and commercial electrical work — cutting, stripping, looping, and gauging 10–18 AWG solid copper wire for device rough-in, outlet and switch wiring, and panel terminations where solid conductors are the standard. The narrow nose fits into tight device boxes and confined wiring cavities, precision-ground stripping holes in hardened steel produce clean nick-free strips, and shear-type cutting blades deliver clean conductor cuts without crushing. The black-oxide finish resists corrosion on the job site, the spring-loaded self-opening action reduces hand fatigue during high-volume wiring, and easy-to-read gauge markings on both sides allow stripping in either direction. Made in USA.
